FOOD POLICY

Your child needs healthy eating patterns to grow physically and intellectually. A healthy lifestyle sets the environment for success. It is encouraged for the parents to make their homes a healthy place.

Students are expected to bring healthy food from home for their breakfast, as well as water bottles for hydration.

The following food items and drinks are not allowed to be brought into the school:

  • Fizzy Drinks
  • Sweets/Chocolates
  • Potato Chips of any brand
  • Sugary Cakes/Cupcakes
  • Instant noodles

The school cafeteria provides healthy options snacks and meals.  The cafeteria will serve the following:

  • Snacks for elementary students
  • Meals and snacks for Middle and High School Students

In normal school days, in case a student forgot his/her breakfast, or wanted to buy from the cafeteria, he/she should not carry more than 150 SDG. Larger sums, if caught, will be confiscated and returned upon parents’ arrival. The school will not be held responsible for any personal loss.

In events, such as charity week and bake sales, students should not carry more than 300 SDG.

Buying from outside the school premises is totally prohibited! In case this happens, the issue will be investigated and the student will be dealt with according to the code of conduct.
